What To Expect

The River Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

We sing mostly contemporary music led by our worship team. The Children's Ministry is for children aged 1 through 5th Grade. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

First Time FAQ

  • You will be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. And don’t worry—you won’t get lost. We’ll help you find your seat so you have the best experience. We can’t wait to see you!

  • You’ll find that everyone has their style, from casual to professional. We believe that church isn’t about what you look like or wear; it’s about who you are on the inside. Come just as you are.

  • Families should be able to relax and be at peace. We know God made children to be full of energy and excitement. Some suggestions for a meaningful church experience:

    • Families may want to sit on an aisle or near the front so other grown-ups do not block the view.

    • Explain to your children what is happening during the service.

    • Allow the children to participate in offering by giving them the family's envelope, their own gift or even a picture!
